Can you imagine voluntarily going in to have yourself plastered with goop and electrodes just to see if you snore? An awake partner is a better gauge and much cheaper.
Well I just went through a sleep study that was supposed to track my breathing during sleep. There were no frantic wake ups because I stopped breathing and only one rushed disconnect related to a bathroom break.
But even though I passed I am told my Dr. could still opt to have me use a CPAP machine. Either you need one or you don't.

Depression sucks
Here it is nearly the end of July and I have hardly produced anything creative. Why? It seems I caught depression somewhere. Seriously you cannot catch it and there is no easy cure but there are ways of battling it. It is like clawing your way out of a deep muddy hole.
I am still working on getting back to "normal" and hope to begin creating pretties soon. Until then I will just keep clawing.

And the Valentines continue
I seem to be compensating for the gloomy days we are having. It is lovely to have a cheery card to brighten up things. So I made some more using an envelope, a pocket I folded like my Christmas cards and a little matchbook full of paper.

Pretty pocket to add to a journal or just enjoy. |

For some reason I could not get the three tags to photograph true color. They are actually cream as in the 1st photo with pink images. |

Once again the origami pocket has proved useful. |

When opened the small matchbook (about the size of real matchbooks) reveals a pad of paper to use. They are perforated to make removal easier |

More New Creations
I made another with the other bag I saved. It only had 2 tags and no tuck spot. I like the red and black.

Nearly a New Year
Here it is almost 2019 and my little blog sits here almost ignored. It serves as a depository of past projects and memory nudges but little else. Mainly because I am unwilling to add advertisements and other superfluous adornments.
I may up my game in 2019 and then I may just stick to the status quo.
In the mean time here is another form of that pocket/card I made for Christmas.

Creating more and more these days.
![]() |
Card consists of a pocket with a small tag and card tucked into it's folds. |
![]() |
I used the same yarn stitched to the spine of the card and as the tags tassel. |

Score down the center of a standard sheet of copy paper. Turn the paper and score at 4¼ and 8½. Make your folds then open paper out flat. |
![]() |
Fold each corner into your score line. |
![]() |
Fold the two sides together like this. |

Tuck the short end into the long end. and you have your pocket. |
I added the paper doily to the back to close the opening there.
