Branching out

Yesterday I built a table to hold the TV. Sorry no pictures. I was too tired to bother after I finished. After all it was one of those Sauder® kits. I just wonder how long it will sit in my front room before being moved to its intended place. Let's see Start counting on 10 June 2015.

All I see are Pocket Letters

It seems as if all I have been working on lately have been Pocket Letters. It is not true. I had several of these in the works for some time now. I just got around to taking the pictures.

Refuge in my creations

That is what I do; take refuge in creating. It allows me to see things as beautiful and full of potential. Nothing is worthless. Today I finished a piece for the Little Happy Letter Project which made me quite happy and I hope the person on the other end thinks so too. What does not give me peace of mind is how the pictures I add seem to have a mind of their own and will not move where I wish.

This is the insides all laid out with the pocket contents displayed.

The sea horse is the outside and starfish are the reverse sides of the flaps with shells from above.

All folded up and held closed with the belly band.

When Senders Choice is not Senders Choice

Today I woke to a reality. My senders choice does not have to be static. When my latest partner expressed a dislike for reds, yellows and pinks I knew I had to make a choice. Send her the one I had already made and let her dislike it or remake. I chose the latter. It is still my choice, just not my 1st one. I am hoping she loves this one. I had fun creating it even if it was a bit last minute.
Lots of blues

Ready for the 4th

Once again I am getting ahead of myself. I have at least a half dozen Pocket Letters to create for swaps. The last of them being a Patriotic one. But here I am almost finished with it. Why? Well for one I have a LOT of red, white, and blue. Plus while I was looking at my beach themed paper pack the red and white striped paper just jumped out at me. So I ran with it.

Patriotic PL filled with goodies

Simple back.

I like how the back looks just as it is. My letter is a little book in the blue pocket. I have noticed that these books have almost become a trademark of my pocket exchanges. Now maybe I can work on the beach, vacation and feminine ones.

Gnome PC

I made this PC with the help of Monet. Actually two Monet greeting cards.

I think they are just so cute, in their Spring blue shirts.

Cuppa Joe

I must say this was one of the most challenging PL I have made so far. It just wouldn't come out like I wanted it to. I did dye some craft paper with coffee and that makes the whole pocket carry a lovely aroma (if you like coffee) but beyond that it is sort of a hit and miss thing. I do hope my partner enjoys it.

There is a card of Washi tap hidden in 3. 7 and 9 are mug mats. I do hope they will lie flat once again.
